Switchgear Assembler - Electrical - Synerfac : Job Details

Work directly for our Hudson County, NJ client that has designed and fabricated a wide variety of high quality products for the electric utility, construction, electrified transit, and OEM industries. Summary - Switchgear Assembler Successful candidate is responsible for assembling products on the factory floor both large and small scale. This position requires blueprint and reading skills, as you must follow the schematics and inspect your work for accuracy. Mechanical or construction experience is also beneficial in this role. You must be familiar with both hand and power tools. Job Duties: -Must be able to fabricate, install, and assemble according to blueprints to ensure proper fitment. -Operate pallet jacks and forklifts. -Assemble electrical control panels. -Read and interpret drawings, bills of material, handwritten notes and written and verbal instructions. -General manufacturing and production duties. -Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. -Willing to travel with our Field Service Dept. a plus but not required. Job Requirements Requirements/Qualifications: -Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. -Construction or auto mechanic experience (preferred). -Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. -Troubleshooting faults when a assembly issue occurs. -Strong leadership skills to motivate and develop a team atmosphere. -Ability to follow directions. -Valid driver's license. -English Spanish bi lingual a plus. -Must have basic hand tools. -Must be able to operate tools safely.
