Weeghman & Briggs is seeking System Administrator 1. Join our growing team and support an important mission within the Federal Government. Location: San Antonio, TX Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph The System Administrator 1 shall possess the following capabilities: • Configure, install, manage and troubleshoot UNIX and Windows operating systems and GOTS/COTS software • Support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices • Optimizes system operations and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis • At least 5 years troubleshooting software installations and operations. • Understanding of computer networks with ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document network connectivity and performance issues. • Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems • At least 5 years analyzing and correcting data flow issues within systems. • Experience in understanding network diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot dataflow and computer system related issues. • Working knowledge of enterprise dataflow and Nifi is helpful. • Willing to work nights on a 24/7 shift work team. Willing to travel for a two week training course, upon start. Additional travel may occur for as needed site visits. Qualifications: Five (5) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
