System Administrator - SAIC : Job Details

Description

SAIC is seeking a System Administrator to join our team in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Job Responsibilities :

• Installation of hardware and software

• Creating and managing user accounts

• Maintaining computer systems such as servers and databases

• Setup, configuration, and maintenance of VSAT terminals

• Network device configuration and updates

• Responding to system outages and various other problems

• Maintaining secure networks and systems

• Communication of issues and system status to Military/Government leadership

• Trouble Ticket management

• Submit documentation of work performed to PM weekly

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and zero (0) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a Windows desktop environment

• Knowledge of DOD transport and black core / colorless routing

• Knowledge of SAAR/GAAR

• HP Aruba knowledge a plus

Required Certification:

Security+ certification

IAT Level II or above Certification in addition to Security Required Clearance:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. A minimum of an Interim Secret clearance will be required prior to first day of employment.

Required Travel:

May include additional travel up to 10%
