As a system administrator on our team, you'll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network.
Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in the latest technologies, as you look for ways to improve your customer's environment using available capabilities and services. You'll be able to sharpen your skills in computer programming and scripting languages while developing critical systems for the Air Force. You Have:
-5 years of experience with systems and network administration
-Experience with installing and maintaining Windows server
-Experience with installing and maintaining Linux server
-Experience with VMware vCenter
-Experience with Tier 1 Technical help desk duties, to include troubleshooting software applications, operating system configurations, multiple application interactions with detailed accuracy remotely via telephone and email, and troubleshooting issues with network configurations
-Experience in working within a change management and configuration management framework
-Ability to work flexible hours for administration tasks or occasional support to worldwide customers
-TS/SCI clearance
-Bachelor's degree
-8570 certification, including CompTIA Security+
Nice If You Have:
-AWS SysOps Administrator Certification
-Windows Server Administrator Certification
-Red Hat Certified Administrator Certification
-CISSP, or equivalent IAM Level II Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
