Minimal occasional visits to Lansing/Detroit office may be required for trainings/conferences.Description: Our client is seeking a System/Business Analyst. This position will support workforce development applications, One Stop Management Information System, Dashboard, Career Explorer, Adult Education Reporting System and Information Management, Performance, and Customer Tracking.Tasks: Requirement gathering, business process analysis/improvement, requirements management and software testing.Assess As Is and To Be processes and document gaps.Collect end-user requirements for improving business processes and software via interviews, focus groups and other stakeholder discussions.Categorize/segment similar requirements and create additional requirements that address client pain points.Maintain up-to-date requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans (in Excel, Word docs, Microsoft Azure), and run reports on the same to inform management discussions.Facilitate planning and requirements meetings, understand, and create solutions to improve user experience, agile product development support.Collaborate with product development team to translate requirements into technical specifications for the proposed solution.Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.Maintain reusable scripts, technical documentation, and specifications.Develop user stories and initial wireframes to guide the architecture of the proposed solution.Develop software test plans.Participate in regression testing, quality assurance testing, user acceptance testing and conduct necessary sessions/focus groups with users to capture feedback on functionality being developed within each agile sprint; translate user feedback into refined requirements for development team.Serve as liaison between client business users and development team, communicating and interpreting requirements and technical solutions.Collaborate to elicit new product ideas and improve existing solutions.Program management documentation support, including developing high-quality presentations for client meetings, documenting notes and action items; basic knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS), and Structured Query Language (SQL).Participate in team and customer meetings, documenting notes and action items.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsSkills Required: 3 years - Experience as System/Business Analyst conducting Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions with Customers and requirement gatherings.2 years - Experience in software testing2 years - Experience with RDBMS / SQLExperience in Agile/ScrumExperience with Microsoft products Word, Excel and VisioBachelor's Degree (please include on your Resume)#J-18808-Ljbffr
