Aramark Healthcare+ has an immediate opening for a System Clinical Nutrition Manager for the Broward Healthcare System.

The System Clinical Nutrition Manager provides clinical nutrition services leadership, expertise, and support to unit clinicians, and operations team to secure full compliance with Aramark clinical nutrition standards of operation, regulatory and accrediting agencies, professional practice standards and client requirements. Has shared responsibilities to support Patient Dining development/deployment.

This position is an on-site role at Broward and will float to each Broward hospital as necessary.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manages in compliance with established company policies and procedures and in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Formulates menus for therapeutic diets based on medical and physical condition of patients/resident?s menus with basic institutional menus. Recognizes and adopts activities appropriate to the specific needs of the patient/resident population and demonstrates knowledge of specific issues directly related to age of patient/resident population.
  • Consults with physician and other health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patients/residents.
  • Maintains accurate records to meet regulatory agency guidelines and assists in statistical analysis of data.
  • Adheres to established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment. Complies with all OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal government regulations.
  • Maintains compliance with ARAMARK?s standards of operation. Adheres to ARAMARK?s Business Conduct Policy at all times. Maintains all records and reports to ensure compliance, with all local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
  • Maintains compliance with all requirements of Federal, State, and local regulations and guidelines including the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, as amended, and the Americans with Disabilities Act, as amended.
  • Prepares the annual budget.
  • Develops new programs which result in an increased level of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) effectively with clients, customers of client and support staff. Ability to write letters, summaries and reports, using prescribed format and conform to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Requires management and leadership skills and the ability to work with confidential employee, client, and ARAMARK information.
  • Position requires a Bachelor?s degree (BA) from a 4-year college or university.
  • Position requires Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association and Licensed Dietitian status, if residing in a state with licensure.
  • Master?s Degree Preferred
