Systems Engineer

Full-time, Onsite at HQ in Fullerton, with Local and Occasional Out-of-State Travel Required

We are a growing company in the food industry seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team. This role requires someone who is self-motivated, adaptable, and excited to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor systems and infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and tools.
• Proactively resolve system issues and ensure high system availability.
• Maintain security protocols, including backups and redundancy.
• Build, test, and maintain servers.
• Collaborate with the team on operational support systems.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level infrastructure support.

Must-Have:

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering experience.
• Proficiency in virtualization/containerization (e.g., ESXi, ProxMox).
• Experience with 2nd/3rd-level helpdesk ticketing support.
• Strong knowledge of networking (e.g., Fortinet).
• Expertise in Microsoft technologies (Windows Server 2022, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 2019).

Nice to Have:

• EDI experience is highly preferred.
• Exposure to SAN/Hyperconverged Storage (e.g., Nutanix).
• Experience with server maintenance and disaster recovery practices.

Please Know:

• This role requires onsite work at the HQ in Fullerton and local travel to environments like farms or high-up locations, with occasional out-of-state travel.
• Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, eager to learn, and adaptable in various environments.
• Salary: $90K-$120K (DOE) + discretionary bonus.
