The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for experienced, innovative, and motivated Systems Administrators to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command Information Technology and Logistics Support (SCITLS) contract.
Responsibilities:
Daily configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based.
Optimizes system operation and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems.
Set up and maintain one or more types of computer systems such as Open VMS Systems/DSM environments, UNIX systems, Linux systems, Windows systems, and other network appliances.
Perform a variety of difficult assignments associated with monitoring and controlling computer operating systems.
Optimizes system operation and resource utilization and performs system capacity analysis and planning.
Analyzes system faults and troubleshoots and runs diagnostic tests on operating systems and hardware to detect problems.
Initiates preventive maintenance on the operating systems as well as repair to system/environment problems.
Maintains the daily maintenance and operation of business systems hosted on physical and virtual platforms.
Evaluates and installs developed software during various phases of testing.
Ensures the security of business systems and applications, mitigating new vulnerabilities to meet the latest Cyber/IA requirements.
Reviews and prepares documentation for systems, tests and installation of software.
Investigates and recommends methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to existing issues or new customer requirements.
Administers systems/environment solutions for multiple projects with varying schedules.
Interfaces with vendors for trouble calls.
Supports the planning of system/environment requirements for individual projects.
May provide work direction and guidance to others.
Qualifications:
Required:
Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible.
BA/BS + 4-8 years experience, depending on skill level. AA/AS and additional years of experience may be accepted.
Current DoD 8140 Cybersecurity Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
Has technical expertise with multiple business systems and understand the interoperability between these systems and the current infrastructure. This includes, but is not limited to: Active Directory Domain Services and Server Roles, Web Services (IIS, Apache, SharePoint), Microsoft Systems Center (SCCM, SCOM), Virtual Infrastructure Services (VMware, Citrix), Messaging Services, AV/VTC Services, Enterprise Monitoring Services, etc.
Administrator-level certification in Systems Technology (Microsoft, RHEL, Linux, VMWare, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as extensive experience with system/server hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity.
Customer service-oriented and proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of resources.
Experience in interfacing with both client managers and system users.
Desired:
Professional-level Certifications (MCSE, RHCE, VCP, etc.)
Experience in automating administrative tasks using PowerShell, VBScript, etc.
Knowledge of and experience with USSTRATCOM
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs.
Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
