Systems Administrator Level 1 - Jovian Concepts : Job Details

Job Description Jovian Concepts, Inc is looking to hire a Systems Administrator Level 1 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction area. TS/SCI Clearance with a Poly required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, troubleshooting and maintaining Information Technology (IT) systems. The System Administrator will:

• Configure, install, manage and troubleshoot UNIX and Windows operating systems and GOTS/COTS software
• Support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices
• Optimizes system operations and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis
• Understanding of computer networks with ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document network connectivity and performance issues.
• Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
• Experience in understanding network diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot dataflow and computer system related issues.
• Working knowledge of enterprise dataflow and Nifi is helpful.

Requirements

• An active and current TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required to be considered. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.

• Five (5) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

• CWIP Certification (IAT Level 1) is required. (Security+, etc)

• Willing to work nights on a 24/7 shift work team.

• Willing to travel for a two week training course, upon start. Additional travel may occur for as needed site visits.

• Minimum of 5 years analyzing and correcting data flow issues within systems.

• Minimum of 5 years troubleshooting software installations and operations
