Systems Administrator/Training Specialist - BigBear : Job Details

Overview:

BigBear.ai is seeking a Systems Administrator/Training Specialist to join our GALE (Generic Area Limitation Environment) Support team. The candidate will work closely with the development team and our customers in the DoD and IC. The position will be on-site in Washington, DC or Reston, VA with occasional travel for on-site customer training

• Develop and execute training plans for users.
• Develop training materials for GALE: manuals, guides, videos, blog posts, etc.
• Train GALE in formal (classroom) and informal (deskside) environments.
• Use your analytic backTrain ground and experience with GALE to provide input on changes to future versions of GALE.
• Perform Ad Hoc analytic tasks for other groups in our organization or for external customers.
• Support external users and admins through our help desk.
• Test new builds of GALE and write up any problems.
• Perform basic GALE system administration.
• Learn new things. Flexibility in this role is key

• Bachelor's degree and 6 to 10 years of experience; masters degree and 4 to 6 years of experience; (in lieu of Bachelors degree, 6 additional years of relevant experience)
• Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI
• 4+ years of professional/full-time experience with SIGINT or multi-spectrum analysis
• Experience teaching or training in a classroom setting
• Experience creating training materials and software documentation
• Strong Word/PowerPoint skills

• CompTIA Security+ Certification
• Relevant Database Experience
• Windows/Linux Administration
• Basic Python
• Atlassian Jira/Confluence
