Job Description Under the general supervision of the Director of Human Resources Management, the System Analyst will troubleshoot and resolve any data related issues which impact operations and premium payments. While ensuring employee data is entered and maintained in PeopleSoft, they will provide data analysis findings to management and be responsible to produce and support custom reporting. In addition, the System Analyst will conduct quality checks in the system. The System Analyst will be responsible to maintain high levels of productivity, effectiveness, and to escalate complex issues to HR Directors and outside organization and assist all parties until the issue is resolved. Adheres to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) so high levels of customer service are met and that questions and concerns are resolved in a timely, professional manner. General tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Analyze, audit and modify data to assure data quality
- Run data queries to identify data exceptions, as well as cleaning data
- Validate deduction amounts and/or arrears for the health carriers
- Review and compare Benefits Recons
- Document processes and maintain data records
- Participate in facility on site visits and in System Wide Orientation, SNEO, in person and virtually
- Assist in testing for Open Enrollment on a yearly basis (Multiple Testing Phases, Monitoring issues, Create incidents, Overviewing Specs and PeopleSoft Communications)
- Adhere to best practices in data analysis and collection
- Create and maintain Service Now tickets to ensure efficient handling and prompt response
- Verify, approve and process benefits documentation in order to enroll employee and their dependents into their choice of health coverage (Worklist, Approval Tile)
- Identify, prioritize, and escalate issues as needed
- Participate in trainings to stay updated on applicable software, policies and procedures
- Provide timely and precise support to callers by identifying solutions, resolving technical challenges, and guiding them through ESS, MSS, and ERC platforms, ensuring a seamless and professional experience
- Incorporate oral and written communications to address health carriers benefit issues
- Act as the liaison on behalf of the employees with external agencies such as and health carriers
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Qualifications 1. A Baccalaureate Degree in relevant field from an accredited college or university; and, 2. One year of experience in a business, government, hospital, educational institution or non-profit organization in analysis, development and implementation of systems, methods and procedures, management information development and data coordination. Familiarity with EDP applications and data processing programs; or, 3. A Masters Degree in Management, Business Administration, Hospital Administration Management, Public Administration, Accounting or relevant field from an accredited college or university; or, 4. A satisfactory combination of education, training and experience.
