General Statement of Duties: The Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing and training for the Academy's enterprise applications, with a focus on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development, maintenance, and support of the Academy's enterprise systems, including the CRM platforms.
- Manage the administration of enterprise systems, including the implementation of new product features and customizations to meet business requirements and collaborate with technical and business staff to design solutions to streamline and/or increase the effectiveness of academic and business processes.
- Assist in the multi-year project to implement a Student Success system and participate on the project Steering Committee.
- Support system testing activities by creating test scenarios, clarifying product requirements and supporting test execution activities.
- Coordinate implementation efforts of new systems and functionality with business staff to ensure roles and responsibilities are well understood for a successful turn-over.
- Evaluate and recommend data integrations across systems to ensure accurate and timely data transfers and document key business processes, data flows, workflows and system architectures.
- Provide project management support for projects including creating project plans, scheduling review meetings and tracking progress of the project and manage incoming service requests, oversee the resolution of application issues and work with vendors to determine root-cause to resolve issues.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including FERPA, HIPAA, PCI, network security, access control, as they relate to enterprise systems.
- Build and maintain working relationships with software application vendors and maintain industry knowledge of new technologies, trends and relevant innovations to continually improve the enterprise applications.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director for Enterprise Systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience providing technical support for a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
- Demonstrated expertise interfacing with business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and creative thinking abilities along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a higher education setting.
- In-depth knowledge of and familiarity with higher education processes related to enrollment management, course registration, financial aid, and other enterprise applications supporting Admissions, Records and Registration, Financial Aid and Athletics
- Experience with the Ellucian Colleague Student Information System (SIS) and financial suites.
- Working knowledge of the ITIL Service Management framework.

Salary: $68,000 - $70,000 annually. The Academy offers generous benefits and a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position is exempt under the FLSA. Finalists must complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
