If you are a highly qualified individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, please review the following: Position Overview: To be successful as a System Operator 1 (SO1), the individual must be reliable, detail-oriented, and must be able to function effectively, independently in the delivery of service and maintenance, including repairs. Work locations are remote, geographically dispersed, and fully exposed to all extremes of weather. SO1 will work directly and indirectly with various departments and teams. Successful performance will require both physical and mental exertion and resilience. Maintenance issues that occur after-hours will be addressed in an on-call rotation basis at times. The SO1 will frequently drive long distances and work with raw, untreated water or be exposed to wastewater (sewage). The successful SO1 must be able to accomplish these tasks without compromising the delivery of quality, safety, or customer service. Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple locations and planning routes to perform various types of basic preventative maintenance & repairs.
- Monitor the performance of water purification and wastewater treatment units.
- Maintains, repairs, overhauls, or installs all types of water and chemical pumping.
- Communicate clearly & respectfully with both co-workers and customers.
- Cooperation and assistance with HSE to ensure the work area is always compliant with OSHA, customer requirements, and internal company standards.
- Participates in a weekly training meeting and operator meeting.
- Collect and manage billing info (wellsite info, billable call tracking, etc.) for assigned customer jobsites and provide to accounting team before monthly close dates.
- Makes customer service calls in response to customer inquiries, investigates water quality problems, service disruptions and quality questions.
- Add chemicals, such as ACH, chlorine, anti-scalant, etc. to disinfect and treat water and wastewater.
- Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items, completing pre-trip inspection, preventative maintenance, safety and emergency equipment and issues therein. Maintain truck interior cleanliness.
- Control stocking levels for parts and equipment through a computerized inventory system.
- Assist with the mobilization, installation and inspection of new water and wastewater units as needed.

Requirements:
- High School Grad; or GED
- Valid driver's license and strong driving safety record (no more than 2 moving violations in previous 3 years).
- Acceptable background check, clear of DWI convictions, for the last 5 years.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration within and between department(s)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-5 years of industry related experience in similar role(s)
- Ability to use basic hand/power tools for installation and maintenance purposes
- Physical ability to sit, stand, walk for long periods, and to lift to 45 lbs.
- High mechanical aptitude, ability to apply trouble-shooting techniques productively.
- Ability to access computer systems to determine required maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of basic electrical components
- General computer/tablet/cellphone navigation abilities, navigating on a computer, using a mouse, typing, changing screens, etc.
- Knowledge of the oilfield industryexpectations and environment.
- Experience with customer service, client communication, and technical environments.
- Experience in water purification /wastewater treatment preferred.
