Job Description :

Akkodis is seeking a Systems Security Engineer for a full-time position with a client located in Fremont, NE. The primary role of a Systems Security Engineer is the design, implementation, maintenance, and management of all IT and security infrastructure. This position is deeply involved in all aspects of the business, directly interacting with users, technology, and vendors to securely enable our client's mission.

Pay/Salary Range: $80,000/yr - $95,000/yr

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:

  • Ability to accurately troubleshoot and resolve both hardware and software based technical issues.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft server products, such as Windows Server 2019, 2022, and Active Directory.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, risk assessment, and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft/Office 365 products and services.
  • Experience with PowerShell and other scripting/automation methods.
  • Experience with KQL, or equivalent query languages.
  • Understanding of core infrastructure (networking/storage/etc) principals and concepts.
  • Effective customer service and interpersonal skills, both in person and in writing.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

-Three years' prior experience in an information technology operations role is required.

-Associate's degree or higher in an Information Technology related field is desirable.

-Previous system engineering and/or security engineering experience is highly desirable.

-Microsoft or CISSP certification is highly desirable.
