T&D PM (High Experience Level) - LVI Associates : Job Details

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead several large-scale distribution and transmission projects from estimate handoff to financial closeout. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health and successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage project budgets, ensuring costs align with financial targets.

• Continuously monitor project progress, making necessary adjustments to stay on course.

• Provide regular updates to stakeholders, detailing strategies, progress, and any adjustments.

• Measure project performance to identify areas of improvement.

• Define project scope and objectives, ensuring clear goals.

• Prepare and manage budgets based on the scope of work and resource requirements.

• Accurately forecast resource needs and manage them efficiently.

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work plans.

• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely deliverables.

• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution.

• Identify, compile, and manage change orders from inception through approval.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction engineering, business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory with substantial field management experience in electrical construction.

• Minimum of 7 years of project management and related experience.

• Proven experience in managing projects through the entire life cycle.

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems creatively.

• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.

• Exceptional analytical skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a high degree of resourcefulness.

• Proven track record of completing projects according to outlined scope, budget, and time

• Must be able to go into office three days a week
