Position Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Software Architect who will play a pivotal role in driving our software technology initiatives. Under broad direction, this role is recognized as a technical expert and leader in the industry. The ideal candidate will provide direction for our software architecture, develop new applications, and lead major system enhancements while serving as a trusted resource to management for strategic technology planning.Job Posting: Senior Technical Software ArchitectLocation: Onsite at Duncan OKExpected Start Date: ASAPKey Responsibilities:Lead the design, research, and development of new software applications and major enhancements.Serve as a technical authority, providing expert guidance to developers, support staff, and management.Lead technical architecture planning and ensure alignment with product roadmaps and customer needs.Act as a gatekeeper of technology, educating and communicating current and future technology directions to the team.Establish and maintain communication with external technology partners, industry consortia, and academic collaborations.Contribute directly to value creation by ensuring high-quality, scalable software solutions.Participate in long-range planning and strategic technology discussions with stakeholders.Required Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.Experience: 16+ years in software development with a focus on system-level architecture OR 20 years of software-related experience.Proven track record of leading complex software development projects and driving technical excellence.Top 3 Technical Skills:Windows OS & Server Administration: Expertise in installation and configuration (both virtual and physical environments).Networking: Strong experience with LAN, VLAN, and WAN configurations.Custom Coding & Scripting: Advanced skills in C#.NET and scripting languages.Additional Requirements:Logical Thinking & Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently.Hardware Configuration: Knowledge of PC and Server hardware optimization for performance.Certifications: Relevant technical certifications are a plus but not mandatory.Preferred Skills (Not Required):Deep understanding of system architecture, cloud computing, and scalable software systems.Experience in engaging with industry consortia and academic research initiatives.
