What we are looking for:

At Converge Medical Technology, we are currently on the lookout for an experienced Talent Acquisition and Human Resource Manager who can bring expertise and energy to our innovative team! In this key role, you will work within the Human Resources department, leading talent acquisition and retention efforts across the organization. You will primarily focus on recruiting for sales and operations positions, sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates who align with our company's values and culture.

As the Talent Acquisition and HR Manager, you will also take on additional HR responsibilities, including assisting with onboarding, ensuring compliance with state and federal employment laws, managing employee relations, and supporting performance management initiatives. You'll play an integral part in promoting the company and its culture to potential candidates, overseeing the employee experience, and driving engagement to foster a work environment that encourages growth and innovation.

What you will be doing:

Recruiting/Talent Acquisition:

In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for all positions, ensuring timely and compliant hiring practices. You will also assist with onboarding, ensuring new hires meet compliance standards and have a smooth transition into the company. A critical part of your responsibilities includes setting recruitment metrics and KPIs, implementing best practices, and creating a data-driven approach to improve efficiency. You will proactively build relationships with passive talent, craft recruiting strategies by networking within the industry, and attend relevant events such as job fairs, conferences, and college events. Additionally, you will develop and track key metrics like time-to-fill and cost-per-hire, ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws. Social media and other platforms will be utilized to promote job openings and attract top talent.

Business Partnerships:

You will establish and cultivate strong working relationships with people managers across the organization. In collaboration with them, you will assess the needs of various roles and functions, providing recommendations that support change management and business transformation. This role requires you to provide guidance on organizational design, evolution, and development to meet current business objectives while positioning the organization for future growth. You will also collaborate on employee relations and performance management initiatives, addressing any challenges that arise throughout the employee lifecycle.

Org Design/Integration:

As part of your responsibilities, you will assess the functional structure, processes, tools, and metrics needed to drive current success and support long-term business growth. If applicable, you will facilitate seamless mergers and acquisitions while building and maintaining high-performing teams within the organization.

Experience & Culture:

You will work closely with business leaders and people managers to create and implement employee experience programs and initiatives that align with and strengthen company culture. Your focus will be on fostering retention, engagement, and a sense of belonging across a geographically and culturally diverse workforce. You will also coach and guide leaders to ensure that behaviors and actions consistently reflect the companys core values. Additionally, you will contribute to HR policies, aligning recruitment efforts with broader HR functions such as employee engagement and retention. You will also provide HR support for employee development programs, including performance management and training, to ensure the continuous growth of employees across the company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, HR, or a related field.
  • Experience recruiting for sales preferred
  • Proven track record of talent sourcing and recruiting methodologies.
  • Strong marketing skills and experience promoting job openings on social media and other channels including representing a company at job fairs and recruiting events.
  • Ability to manage the overall employee experience and engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage all HR-related activities to support aggressive growth goals.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to pivot to new assignments.
  • Previous experience working in a startup is a plus but not required.
