CAMBA's Human Resources (HR) Department manages all aspects of human resources functions such as talent acquisition, onboarding, employee benefits, compensation, policies & procedures, training & development, performance management, employee relations, compliance, medical leaves, reasonable accommodations, and human resources information systems.

Position: Talent Acquisition Associate (Temp)

Reports To: Director of Talent Acquisition

Location: 1720 Church Avenue Brooklyn NY 11226/Hybrid Remote

What The Talent Acquisition Associate (Temp) Does:

  • Support the design and restructure of Talent Acquisition and support the implementation of the recruitment process.
  • Assist with job posting and advertisement processes as needed or in the absence of the Talent Acquisition Coordinator.
  • Screen resumes and applications to select qualified candidates based on relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.
  • Prepare interview questions and selection materials.
  • Perform first-round screening of potential candidates.
  • Attend and participate in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Work with a variety of sources, both external and internal, to source the best candidates for open positions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to make candidate determinations.
  • Prepare and execute job offers.
  • Manage the recruitment life-cycle.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Minimum Education/Experience Required:

    • Associate Degree, Bachelor's preferred.

    Other Requirements:

    • Two (2) years of relevant work experience, preferably in a mid-sized (250+ employees) organization.
    • Basic analytical & math skills.
    • Good written & verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Computer literacy in other Microsoft Office Suite products.
    • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems & Applicant Tracking System.

    Compensation: $24-$27 hourlyWhen salary ranges are listed, the range represents the low and high end for the applicable position & program. The salary offered is based on various factors unique to each program and candidate, including but not limited to experience, education, budget and/or program size, internal equity, skills, and other factors that may be required for the position and organization.

    Status: Full-time (35 hours per week)Benefits: CAMBA offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, paid time off (vacation, personal, and sick time), and paid holidays.
