Are you enthusiastic about finding top legal talent, assisting attorneys with their professional development and shaping the future of a dynamic law firm? To fill a new position on our growing team, we're looking for an experienced Attorney Talent Acquisition and Development Manager to collaborate with our team and help lead our efforts in attracting, hiring and retaining exceptional attorneys across all our practice areas.

The Role of Manager of Attorney Talent Acquisition and Development will handle the following responsibilities:

Crafting Winning Recruitment Strategies:

Our new team member will be at the forefront of developing and executing creative strategies to attract the best attorneys. From collaborating with our external recruiting partners, social media, networking at events, staying on top of market trends and understanding what motivates top talent, this role will help us stay competitive and ensure we identify the best matches for our open roles.

Collaborating with Key Stakeholders:

Working closely with our Chief Growth Officer and the Talent Acquisition and Development team, you'll help manage the full recruiting, onboarding and development cycle and ensure our recruitment efforts align with the firm's culture and needs. In addition to building strong relationships with external recruiters and law schools, this position will be relied upon to introduce innovative recruiting strategies, always on the lookout for how we can engage potential candidates.

Supporting Professional Growth:

We believe in continuous learning and development, and this role plays a crucial role in ensuring all of our attorneys have access to the best-in-class training and development programs, working closely with the Talent Development team to promote opportunities that help our attorneys thrive in their careers. The go-to person for all things related to attorney development, our new hire will help design, tailor and implement development initiatives that enhance our attorneys' skills, knowledge, career trajectories with a full understanding of the unique needs of our practice groups accordingly. Your insights will help shape the future of our firm's talent, ensuring that our attorneys are not only meeting their professional goals but also advancing the firm's objectives.

Whether it's organizing CLE courses, coordinating mentorship programs, or staying current with creative leadership training concepts, you'll ensure our team has the tools they need to excel.

Tracking Success and Driving Improvement:

This position necessitates having a team member who can track and keep an eye on key recruitment and development metrics, analyzing the data to find areas where we can improve. By preparing regular reports, you'll keep senior management informed and ready to tackle any challenges that arise.

Our Ideal Candidate Brings to the Table:

Our next team member brings at least five years of experience in legal talent acquisition and development, within a law firm, along with a solid understanding of the legal industry. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, strategic and communication skills are also essential to build strong relationships with both candidates and colleagues. The ability to thrive on collaboration, multitask, comfort to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and on top of everything is also needed to be successful in this role. Additional experience sought includes proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), innovative platforms and other technologies.
