Job Description

Teledyne Scientific & Imaging is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to serve as a working TA Partner in the design, delivery and reporting of recruitment deliverables. The TA Partner will carry a requisition workload while providing guidance, and support to other members of the HR Team & leadership, to ensure alignment with recruitment goals, KPIs, and objectives. The role will operate in a fast paced, dynamic environment, and provide excellence in communication, influence and relationship building. This position must be on-site at our Thousand Oaks or Camarillo, CA locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead recruiting activities supporting across BU's including resume mining, interviewing, hiring administration.
  • Serves as the first point of contact for escalated items relating to talent acquisition.
  • Utilizes data and analytics to track effective recruiting metrics, assesses the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, and makes data-driven decisions to improve hiring processes.
  • Regularly reports on key recruitment performance indicators to senior management.
  • Manage the logistics and participation for TS&I Career fairs.
  • Lead the new hire on-boarding process including, but not limited to; Orientation, confirmation and collection of new hire documents pre- and post- hire, new employee first day communication to employees and manager, coordination of new employee welcome swag.
  • Lead team with scheduling interviews, job postings and applicant travel.
  • Composes job descriptions for TS&I locations; coordinate with employees and management to review/edit; maintains AS9100 compliance with up-to-date descriptions.
  • Conduct bi-weekly payroll report and audit.
  • Assist with coordination of employee programs.
  • Assist in creation and auditing of job descriptions.
  • Assists with various other projects as needed.

Qualifications & Competencies

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:

  • Strong background in Talent Acquisition practices and competencies.
  • Proficiency using HRIS software, ADP software, TEAMS and Deltek.
  • Proficiency using Workday a plus.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, employees and the general public.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment to manage sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Advanced computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Must be detail oriented and able to handle a variety of different assignments.
  • Ability to work with multiple business units simultaneously.
  • Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practices.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field with at least five (5) years of experience working in a Talent Acquisition function with duties including talent acquisition, employee relations, reporting, etc.

Citizenship Requirements

Salary Range: $74,800.00-$99,880.00
