The Talent Acquisition Specialist will review applications, conduct screenings, and support management with staffing needs while maintaining compliance with the hiring process. The position is responsible for developing, facilitating, and implementing all phases of the recruitment process for Tierra Encantada headquarters and center administration. Reporting to the HR Director, this position is best suited for someone that excels in a fast-paced, results-oriented, start-up environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop recruiting plans to fill forecasted staffing needs and proactively search, source, and obtain new talent through a network of industry organizations, professional contacts, social media, job fairs, etc.
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process for Tierra Encantada headquarters and center administration
- Collaborate with internal hiring managers to identify gaps, creating hiring timelines, set budget for compensation packages, and draft performance expectations, and training plans
- Write position descriptions that match the company's needs, appeal to potential hires, and align with the Hiring Manager's talent needs
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on available roles, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
- Conduct all prescreens for corporate office positions and provide detailed feedback to Hiring Managers that fulfills their information needs with recommendation of whether a candidate should proceed
- Manage all logistics of interviewing process - schedule corporate office in-person interviews, collect all interview documentation from Hiring Managers, upload prescreen and interview notes to drive ensuring organized electronic filing system
- Track data on every stage of recruitment funnel
- Supports center administration with recruiting efforts, by overseeing job postings and advertisement processes, and assisting with screening and interview scheduling
- Conducts background checks, E-Verify and any other pre-hiring paperwork.
- Coordinates onboarding processes (I9s, set up in HRIS, conduct new hire orientation, etc.)
- Supports benchmarking processes for current and future recruitment efforts, and collaborates with the hiring manager during the offer/negotiation process
- Serves as the main point of contact for talent acquisition matters
- Develop relationships with colleges and universities that support the needs of the business and facilitate a strong pipeline of talent and interns to fill future needs
- Research and identify job fairs and recruiting event opportunities, plan and manage all logistics of company participation, and serve as a positive company representative that reflects a warm and communicative culture at events
- Ensures recruiting and talent acquisition processes are in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
- Manage and monitor talent acquisition systems
- Assist HR Director and Compliance personnel with visa sponsorship programs.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; - or
- Equivalent work experience with at least 2 years of Recruitment Coordinator, HR Assistant, or in a similar role; required.
- Strong English and Spanish communication skills, both written and verbal required.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with talent acquisition systems and social media platforms, such as Indeed, Glassdoor, Linked-In, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and recruitment best practices.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge on industry recruiting requirements preferred.
