Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Normally Reports to: Talent Acquisition Manager

Job Objective: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the organization's staffing needs. This role involves partnering with Hiring Managers and Human Resource Business Partners to understand their recruitment needs, developing effective sourcing strategies, managing the full recruitment life cycle, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also ensure all hiring practices comply with company policies and employment laws, contributing to the organization's growth and success.

Essential Responsibilities:

* Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the talent acquisition process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.

* Collaborates with hiring managers to create detailed job postings, descriptions, and hiring criteria.

* Conducts job and task analyses to document job requirements and objectives.

* Identifies and utilizes effective talent acquisition strategies based on the role, industry standards, and organizational needs.

* Manages job postings and advertisements using the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other best practices.

* Screens resumes and applications; coordinates candidate assessments using approved behavioral assessment tools.

* Conducts phone interviews to evaluate candidates' knowledge, skills, experience, and aptitude.

* Schedules and facilitates interviews with hiring managers; prepares interview questions and selection materials.

* Participates in interviews alongside managers and other stakeholders, providing support throughout the interview process.

* Acts as a liaison to maintain positive candidate relationships during the selection process.

* Collaborates with hiring managers and HR staff on the offer process, including salary recommendations, incentives, and start dates.

* Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.

* Provides detailed talent acquisition reports and insights to the Hiring Managers & Human Resource Business Partners.

* Promotes the company's reputation as a best place to work.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist with a minimum of 2-5 years managing all phases of the talent acquisition process.

* Experience in similar industry preferred

* Experience recruiting for Sales Professionals and other exempt roles strongly preferred

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.

* Strong interviewing skills, diverse selection processes and progressive recruitment strategies.

* Proficient with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.

* Demonstrated ability to develop recruitment strategies aligned with business needs.

* Strong decision-making, time management, and organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

* In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices related to hiring and recruitment.

* Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment while managing multiple projects.

* Flexible and adaptable to changing organizational needs and priorities.

* Proactive, independent, and action-oriented, with a strong personal bias for action.

* Strong focus on process improvement; capable of evaluating current systems, processes, and procedures and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Performance Measurements:

* Successful execution of talent acquisition strategy across all organizational channels

* Optimization of overall time-to-fill and quality-hire metrics

* Increased associate retention/reduced turnover
