Job Description

The Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist with full cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees. A successful Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks, job fairs, professional organizations, and employee referrals. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist are to ensure OMES attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.

Job Details

* Full-time 40-hour work weeks.

* Support the Human Capital Management.

* Salary up to: $70,000 based on education and experience.

Responsibilities

* Design and implement overall recruiting strategy.

* Collaborates with Human Resources Business Partner and managers to develop and maintain job descriptions.

* Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.

* Coordinates with Public Affairs on recruitment outreach via communication distribution and social media.

* Represent and coordinate agency's participation in recruitment events and job fairs.

* Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc.

* Builds relationships with professional organizations, universities, and other partners to develop talent pipelines. *

* Lead candidate selection process through reviewing applicants, screening candidates, performing reference checks, verifying previous employment, etc. *

* Schedule interviews; oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.

* Assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.

* Trains hiring managers on best practices for interviewing and equips them with tools for successful hiring; advises on selection techniques and best practices.

* Create and deliver recruitment metrics to HR leadership to inform talent acquisition strategy.

* Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

* Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process

Physical Demands and Work Environment

In a comfortable office setting in front of a computer for the majority of the work day.

The noise level in the work environment is usually mild.

Occasional travel may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

* A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field such as business administration, or equivalent work experience.

* A minimum of two years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess

* Professional HR certification preferred.

* Experience in Workday preferred.
