Position Purpose:
Lead the full-cycle recruiting process while ensuring compliance with EEO, ADA, OSHA, and related regulations. Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies, refine recruiting methods, and advise senior management on policies and practices that support organizational growth and workforce needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Strategy & Execution:
- Source, screen, and interview qualified candidates for a range of positions.
- Develop and maintain recruiting strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Post and update job listings, utilize keyword optimization, and employ creative techniques to attract both active and passive candidates.
Relationship Building & Communication:
- Partner with management to understand staffing needs and create effective hiring plans.
- Represent the organization at career fairs and recruiting events.
- Foster relationships with schools, vendors, and industry professionals to maintain a robust talent pipeline.
Compliance & Best Practices:
- Ensure recruiting and HR activities align with laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Support the development and communication of HR policies, including training initiatives and policy updates.
- Maintain accurate and timely employment records and reports, including recruiting metrics.
Operational Support & Team Leadership:
- Collaborate with HR team members and management to address staffing requirements.
- Provide guidance to managers and staff on HR best practices.
- Assist in forecasting staffing needs and implementing targeted recruitment solutions.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field; 3+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong recruiting focus; supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge & Skills: Understanding of current employment laws, competitive market pay rates, and effective recruiting techniques. Strong communication, analytical, project management, and interpersonal skills essential.
