Job Description :
Talent Partner - Boston (6 month FTC) We're putting together a talented team to build the #1 training platform for Runners

We help everyday runners become outstanding by providing world-class training, coaching and community for everyone, whether you're improving your 5k time or training for your first marathon. To date we have built iOS, Android and Apple watch apps that help people achieve their goals by coaching them through the full journey and syncing to their favourite fitness devices.

In 2024, we were selected by Apple as one of three global finalists for the 2024 iPhone App of the Year, reflecting the innovation and impact of what we've built. We want to grow as fast as we can into the future and are looking for individuals who will help us get there. For more about our background and growth check out our Careers Page!

Who we're looking for

To help us scale, we're looking for an experienced Talent Partner for a 6 month Fixed-Term Contract (we will review if we extend a permanent contract post-6 months) who can juggle high-volume recruitment across a variety of disciplines (Early Years, marketing and Business Development roles) while maintaining our top-tier employer brand.

We're a small 15-person team in Boston, and have our eyes set on really growing our office out there! Over in London, we have a bigger team of just over 100 people!

If you're a recruiter who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves connecting with people, and can see the bigger picture in talent acquisition, we want YOU to join the team!

You will be part of the growing People and Talent Team, (reporting to Emily, Talent Lead) but this will be the first of us based in Boston 🇺🇸

What You'll Be Doing:

Owning the Recruitment Process: You'll manage the full hiring cycle for multiple roles across different teams, from marketing and sales to engineering and operations. Whether it's sourcing, interviewing, or offering, you'll be the driving force behind our recruitment efforts.

Helping distribute Runna's name in Boston (and East Coast) Talent Pools: We want you to help us hire at scale and contribute to the best go-to-market strategy with Emily and Lou!

Sourcing Talent: You'll be using your creative sourcing techniques (job boards, social media, networking, referrals, etc.) to find a variety of top candidates who align with our company's vision and needs.

Interviewing and Assessing: You'll be responsible for evaluating candidates on both their technical ability and cultural fit, ensuring that we continue to hire people who align with Runna's values.

Data-Driven Recruiting: You'll analyse recruitment metrics to make sure we're hitting our goals and continuously improving our strategies. It's all about being efficient and effective!

Requirements

Who we're looking for:

If you don't quite meet all of the below skills, we'd still love to hear from you as we might be able to tweak the role slightly or offer you a position better suited for you. You can apply directly below or contact us if you're still unsure.

  • Proven experience in high-volume talent acquisition across a variety of functions (ideally in a tech or startup environment). You should be comfortable handling a fast-paced and evolving workload, with an eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding across generalist marketing/business development roles
  • Early Years / College experience would be a big bonus
  • You've got a super understanding (and passion!) in building and promoting an attractive employer brand that attracts top-tier candidates, while keeping things authentic and true to the company's culture.
  • You love connecting with people, building relationships with candidates, and working alongside hiring managers to truly understand their needs. You have amazing communication skills both written and verbal.
  • You're familiar with using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems, and all the tools that make recruiting easier and more efficient (currently we are using Workable!)
  • You've got a proactive mindset and are always looking for ways to optimise the recruitment process. You can pivot quickly and handle multiple priorities at once, while keeping everything on track.
  • You genuinely care about finding the best people for the team, and are excited to help candidates find their perfect role within our company.
