Position at JBS USA JBS Tannery started in April 1997. The majority of Cactus' production is exported. The wet blue hides are further processed into finished leather used in the production of various leather goods. The Cactus Tannery also provides custom bluing for various customers and custom splitting in the blue. Cactus wet blue is also utilized in the production of boots for the U.S. military. Cactus tannery has received a Gold Medal ranking from the Leather Working Group. This group of industry leaders has established guidelines regarding environmental stewardship.
