Tax Preparer - Manpower Group : Job Details

Our client in the financial industry is seeking a Tax Preparer to join their team. As a Tax Preparer, you will be part of the accounting department supporting the tax team. The ideal candidate will have great organizational skills, effective communication skills, and be detail-oriented, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Tax Preparer

Location: Ozark, AL

Pay Range: $45,000 - $65,000, DOE

What's the Job?

• Communicate with clients to acquire information and determine taxable income and deductible expenses.
• Review various financial documents in order to prepare tax returns and provide tax services.
• Accurately enter client tax data into tax software.
• Perform tax law research for guidance on client tax issues.
• File statements and returns by established deadlines.
• Submit tax returns to partners for review.
• Will be trained on tax software.

What's Needed?

• Basic knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel
• Detail oriented
• Effective Communication skills
• Great Organizational skills
• A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in accounting or finance preferred
