We have an exciting opportunity to join a group of diverse tax professionals on our Tax Reporting team in our Jacksonville, FL office. Support our businesses in the Americas as a Sr. Tax Associate/Tax Reporting Analyst and work across a range of tasks relating to the preparation of federal, state and local income tax returns as well as the provisioning for the income tax liabilities within the Americas, with a focus on the on foreign branch reporting in the US.At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. Bringing your collaborative approach, you'll have the opportunity to contribute your ideas within a supportive environment that seeks to include a variety of perspectives, while assisting the business in preparing analysis for transactions. In addition, you will liaise with the Tax Advisory department to comprehend US tax law requirements on specific transactions as well as liaising closely with Business Unit Finance, Legal Entity Controllers and Tax Advisory teams to understand and highlight potential tax technical issues with accounting positions, transactions and new products. New York salary range for this position: $80,000 - $95,000/Yr. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. The successful candidate may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.   • 3-6 years of experience working in financial services or public accounting environments
  • Experience preparing tax provision, effective tax rate calculations, taxable income and deferred tax computations as well as preparing test tax basis computations based on balance sheet approach for book/tax differences
  • Expertise preparing tax payable and tax receivables reconciliations for cash flow and Foreign Exchange hedging purposes and assess potential impact of changes in organizations from a tax compliance and accounting perspective
  • A bachelors degree in accounting or finance, Masters in Tax and/or CPA designation.
