Tax Senior Manager/DirectorPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Senior Manager/Director to lead our tax department and provide strategic direction on all tax matters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance, planning, and advising clients on various tax issues, ensuring adherence to tax regulations and optimizing tax strategies for our organization and clients.Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the tax compliance process for individuals and corporations.

Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.

Provide expert tax advice and guidance to clients regarding tax planning and tax structuring.

Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing training and support as needed.

Review and approve tax returns and documentation prepared by the team.

Stay current with changes in tax regulations and legislation to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for the firm and its clients.

Collaborate with other departments to align tax strategies with the overall business objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree in Taxation is preferred.

Active CPA license is required.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation.

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proven leadership abilities with experience managing a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
