Tax Supervisor/Senior - Financial Services - Tandym Group : Job Details

A CPA firm located in Manhattan is actively seeking an experienced and analytical Tax professional, with a strong financial services background, for a promising Senior / Supervisor role on their staff. In this role, the Tax Senior / Supervisor will be responsible for tax compliance, research, and planning for Financial Services clients including hedge funds, investment partnerships, investment companies, and other financial service related entities. Responsibilities The Tax Senior / Supervisor will:

• Assist with supervising staff
• Work closely with clients and internal tax management team
• Complete other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3-8+ years of total accounting and tax experience
• Experience with review and some heavy preparation of hedge fund and investment partnership tax returns
• Strong partnership knowledge
• Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
• Strong client interaction skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
