Position Type: Pupil Personnel Services/Teaching Assistant Date Posted: 2/15/2025 Location: Eastchester Middle School Date Available: 08/27/2025 Closing Date: 03/21/2025 Teaching Assistant, Leave Replacement Immediate Vacancy - February 24, 2025 Middle School The Eastchester School District is seeking a candidate to fill the temporary leave replacement position of teaching assistant in the Middle School assisting a special education teacher to provide academic, social, and/or communication skills to student or groups of students who have learning, emotional, or physical disabilities. Duties performed under the direction of a special education teacher who is responsible for the design and implementation of educational programs and services. Requirements:

• NYS certification: Teaching Assistant
• NYSED Fingerprint Clearance*

Employment Terms:

• 10-month, leave replacement position
• 1/200 of base salary range in accordance with the Eastchester Teachers Association (ETA) negotiated salary schedule: $30,077-$43,458 (1/200 of step)
