Hours: 3rd shift Team Leader - TMMAL 10:00pm 6:45am Mon- Fri

Position: Team Leader

Hours: 40 hours per week

Pay Rate: $19.00- $20.00

This is a Direct Hire position with Aldez

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of 1-14 team members
• Achieve 100% customer satisfaction
• 100% on time delivery
• 100% satisfaction of quality standards
• Measure and report the effectiveness of conveyance activities and employees performance
• Organize and maintain efficiency of inbound and outbound staging areas
• Communicate job expectations and coach employees
• Determine staffing levels and assign workload
• Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
• Supervise and ensure forklift/tugger recertification for team members are completed annually
• Update FMDS board as required by Operations Manager
• Prepare semi-annual / annual evaluations reviews for all employees. The Operations Manager will review.
• Establish training plan for all new hires after SOP
• Create and update WIS as required by Operations Manager
• Maintain records, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
• Review and communicate changes needed to established Work Instructions (WIS) as needed. Continually analyze areas to improve existing processes.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a supervisor is preferred
• MS Office proficiency
• Ability to input and retrieve data
• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excels at operating in a fast pace, customer centric environment
• Ability to look at situations from several points of view
• Warehouse and Forklift Experience Preferred

Compensation details: 19-20 Hourly Wage
