What you will do:
- The team Lead is responsible for monitoring the operations to ensure that all operation standards are met. The Team Lead adjusts the assembly or production process to improve the overall efficiencies. The Lead Assembler supports shift Production Coordinator and all team members.
- This position requires you to be on your feet for most of the day. The employee may have to lift objects/equipment from time to time on the floor individually or as a team. Physical movements necessary to perform this job are pushing, pulling, and bending.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Schedule Shift Daily
- Check in employees at start of shift/conduct morning meetings
- Plan assembler breaks
- Relieve assemblers as needed
- Coordinate Work Order Changes
- Pod Layout
- Hour by Hour board update
- Schedule board update Office and at Press
- Reconcile work orders (Print W.O. and labels)
- Assure manufacturing processes are running efficiently, seek resolution when deficiencies are found, and maintain production standards
- Communicate all production, equipment, and personnel issues, problems etc. to Supervisor
- Follow Code of Conduct standards and plant policies
- Carry out all job duties safely using common sense and by following safety policies and procedures
- Provide and support efficient training of new employees
- Required to participate in Continuous Improvement Team meetings
- Follow written and verbal instructions on procedures (assembly, packing, inspection, etc.)
- End of Shift reporting
- Complete attendance tracker
- Record and report scrap
- Complete daily metrics
- Provide a safe work environment and investigate and help resolve any safety incident
- Required to be active part of Safety Committee.
- Cooperate with fellow members and work as part of a team
- Maintain good housekeeping of work and break areas
- Approve quality and ensure correct product build at start of jobs
- Daily 5-s audits, Weekly BBS audit and Daily Quality audits
- Must be able to fill out Safety and Quality alerts.
- Other Duties as assigned
- High School Diploma required and/or equivalent work experience
- Requires a minimum of one to three years of related experience

- Employees work indoors in a temperature-controlled area
- Employees will often be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels
- Employees will need to be alert/attentive to heavy machinery on the manufacturing floor (e.g., forklifts, hot stampers)
- Are sometimes exposed to contaminants
- Must wear safety attire or protective gear daily
Travel:
- Some travel between facilities for training purposes
