Join our team and become part of the journey in making our patients and customers the highest priority.Job DescriptionPosition SummaryUnder general guidelines from Senior Management, the Shift Lead is responsible for management of all daily laboratory operations, environment and work processes.The Shift Lead will assume responsibility for the laboratory's compliance with standard operating procedures and interpretation of test results in accordance with the applicable regulatory requirements.Schedule:: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pmJob ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing daily operations of departments.Oversee safety, ergonomics, maintenance, and cleanliness of department (including upgrades, repairs, supplies needed, etc.)Oversee implementation of SOPs for Specimen Processing in accordance with company policyOversee/Ensure all processing documentation is complete and reviewed as required.Ensure Specimen workflow from logistics meets the needs of the department.QA daily LIVE work for quality improvement (10 reqs per processor).Responsible for training or re-training staff on any changes/updates as guided by ManagementReport malfunctioning workstations to management for HELP tickets.Escalate any problems or questions to a supervisor and/or manager if needed.Any other functions delegated by management.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentAt least two years team lead experience in fast paced clinical lab settingComputer skills, MS Office applications and Outlook.Medical or production background preferredThe ability to effectively work with internal departments to resolve problems.
