We invite you to explore the opportunities to help us perform this important mission.Job Summary:Responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of assigned area with particular emphasis on managing customer orders, warehouse associates and implementing warehouse action plans.Key Job Accountabilities:Labor ManagementProvide direct daily supervision of warehouse associates to ensure the safe, clean and efficient operation of the warehouseDevelop and implement work schedules and assignments to ensure efficient operationSchedule temporary labor based off production scheduleOrganize and perform all necessary training to ensure the quality of productionOperationDirect and supervise assigned area within the Distribution facility, which include assigning task, and leading the execution of task.Ensure 5S program is intact and follow up with all continuous improvement activities suggested by team members.Lead daily huddles with team and ensure that they are aware of KPI (Key Performance Indicator) goals, and what was executed previous day.Understand current and short-term future workload demand and make suggestions to supervisors and managers to ensure that demand requirements are met.Ensure that all OSHA guidelines are adhered too, as well as all Environmental Health and Safety requirements are adhered too.Support leadership in development improvement plans for employees and participate in yearend review process.Utilize LMS and Lean to drive continuous improvement within the site.Required & Preferred Experience/Training:Must have responsible work habits and good judgment and decision-making ability, self-motivated and detail-oriented individual.Preferred: High School diploma or GEDPreferred: 2 years of experience in an order processing environmentPreferred: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and RF scanning equipment.Preferred: Haz Mat and Forklift experienceAbility to obtain L'Oreal forklift certificationRCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act) Haz Mat TrainingPreferred: 1 year or less of Continuous Improvement exposurePreferred: Working knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System), Excel and Word.Working Conditions:8-hour standard working day, M - F (Varies depending on customer demand)Overtime can be expected during peak seasons based on business needs to increase standard shift time to 10 hours, plus working weekendsPersonal protective equipment required including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed shoes and vest; other equipment provided dependent upon roleClose to moderate supervision required for this positionAble to bend, twist and lift up to 38lbs using proper lifting techniquesThis summary describes the general nature of work to be performed and is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required of an incumbent in this position.
