Join us.ESSENTIAL TASKS:Assist, direct, instruct, and check on assigned group of departmental employees in all phases of their work.Manage the movement of personnel to ensure production goals are met in all areas and optimize productivityTrack and approve personnel time in KronosEnsure that all procedures are followed to meet company objectives which include safety, right-first-time and forecast and research, propose and implement improvements to these areas using CI tools.Lead and teach process audits, standard work events, PSRs, and other CI tools with assigned team membersDrive safety engagement by motivating department personnel to write SAFE cards and report all incidents, entering incidents into Engage in a timely manner, leading diverse teams to identify the root cause, and driving countermeasures to completion.Drive the use of plant standard boards to maintain clean work areas and equipmentIdentify and refer disciplinary and other supervisory problems and matters to designated supervisionAssist supervision with employee reviews and reprimandsMaintain approved levels of suppliesWork from batches, schedules, and instructions to plan and lay out work for assigned groupPerform minor scheduling actions in MPT and EBS transactionsNON-ESSENTIAL TASKS:Perform other duties as required or directedREQUIREMENTS:General high school diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years manufacturing experienceMust be able to drive an overhead crane and IMEWe thrive when the expectations are great, and the barriers are high.
