Job DescriptionJob Description

Team members needed to fulfill various positions in our new Market & Deli who can also work on our two food trucks cooking BBQ and various seafood specialties.

Job Summary

• Prepares, seasons, and cooks dishes, such as soups, meats, vegetables in fast paced environment
• ability to work as a team with out attitude
• must be available weekends
• 15-20/hour depending on experience
• opportunities to work with our catering department as well

General Accountabilities

• Inspects and clean food preparation areas or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
• works in a clean manor. knows and is familiar with FDA food code and Health Department Regulations
• shows up to work on time for given shift in clean clothing and presentable attire.
• Ensures food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
• Seasons and cooks food according to recipes and standards of established dishes

Job Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalentExperience: A few months to one year of related experienceSkillsMulti task, Communication, Monitoring, Coordination, Active listening
