Team members needed to fulfill various positions in our new Market & Deli who can also work on our two food trucks cooking BBQ and various seafood specialties.
Job Summary
- Prepares, seasons, and cooks dishes, such as soups, meats, vegetables in fast paced environment
- ability to work as a team with out attitude
- must be available weekends
- 15-20/hour depending on experience
- opportunities to work with our catering department as well
General Accountabilities
- Inspects and clean food preparation areas or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
- works in a clean manor. knows and is familiar with FDA food code and Health Department Regulations
- shows up to work on time for given shift in clean clothing and presentable attire.
- Ensures food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
- Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
- Seasons and cooks food according to recipes and standards of established dishes
