Location: New York, New York Type: Direct Hire Job 746 Salary: $120,000 Tech Training & Support Coordinator ORGANIZATION: Large Multinational U.S. Based Law Firm COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Base up to $135K, bonus, benefits including Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage; Paid Time Off; 401K; Life and AD&D Insurance; Savings Accounts; Corporate Gym Memberships; Travel Reimbursement; etc. LOCATION: New York, NY - Midtown Manhattan KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Train end-users in the use of legal technology applications Provide ongoing support to end-users Coordinate with other offices regarding legal technology training plans Develop Firm-wide training plans for new technology software Provide group or individual training sessions to attorneys and support staff (domestic and international offices) Provide case-specific training Create and maintain training materials, best practice guides and documentation Design, create and maintain training modules and demos Resolve, monitors and tracks situations and issues to resolution, to the satisfaction of users, requiring accurate problem identification and diagnosis Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables Assist with the training and hiring of the Legal Technology Help Desk staff Assist with quality assurance testing Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management Assist with loading data to Legal Technology databases as instructed Demonstrate effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others Comply with and understands Firm operation, policies and procedures and perform other related duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: 7 years of related work experience in a corporate law firm or professional services environment 5 years of end-user training experience required Extensive knowledge of PC environments and use of software applications in a legal environment Thorough working knowledge of job related computer software, i.e. imaging, database, Web applications, desktop publishing and online Help modules Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications preferred Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing Demonstrates close attention to detail Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs
