Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Technical Advisor / Lead Engineering & Technical Support professional to provide high-level expertise in resolving complex technical challenges. This role requires advanced engineering knowledge and leadership in operations support, planning, and compliance within a highly regulated environment. The position is 90% remote with 10% onsite work required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level support to resolve broad and complex technical issues affecting site-wide operations.
- Direct, develop, implement, and administer technical operations programs to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Evaluate, test, and procure equipment and instruments to enhance operational capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to relevant laws, industry standards, and DOE Orders.
- Oversee engineering and technical support personnel, serving as a subject matter expert for complex issues.
- Mentor and guide junior personnel to achieve operational excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred, with 8-12 years of related experience, OR
- Associate's degree with 12-15 years of practical experience, OR
- High school diploma with 15-20 years of practical experience.
- Strong experience in managing and optimizing operations programs.
- Knowledge of DOE regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership in directing technical teams and resolving operational challenges.
