- BS degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or Mathematics.
Experience:
- Ten (10) years of experience in technical specifications development, process analysis and design, technical problem solving, and analytical/logical thinking.
- TS/SCI level Clearance required.
Job Description:
- Collaborate with program stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into functional specifications. Make recommendations for technical solutions including application development, documentation, and quality assurance.
- Identify process enhancements and use change management to facilitate timely implementation.
- Track and monitor document requests, implementation activities, milestones and schedules.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, systems, and data flows.
- Prepare and evaluate plans and designs for engineering projects; researches technology trends and patterns; conducts technical analysis; evaluates the value and applicability of new technology; and provides engineering expertise and advice on program planning.
- Translate advanced concepts into practical and effective solutions using structured techniques to define requirements.
- Develop feasible alternatives and estimate costs of implementation.
- Develop presentations of findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and oral presentations to a broad audience, including non-technical stakeholders.
- Perform supervisory or managerial duties.
Essential Duties of the Job:
- Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
- Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
- Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
- Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
- Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face
