Location: Oak Brook

The Technical Analyst will administer the managed tablet program using Jamf (Apple Mobile Device Management System), working alongside our project team to perform detailed requirements analysis, document processes, and perform user acceptance testing. The ideal candidate will have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirements-gathering exercises and provide expertise throughout a project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop, implement, and assess solutions.
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies, including Business Technology Review and workflow/design reviews.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Provide high level of written and verbal communication with the ability to facilitate meetings with vendors, users, and developers.
  • Create presentation material for assigned projects.
  • Perform requirements analysis and documentation and assist with documentation updates.
  • Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gather critical information from meetings and produce useful deliverables, including meeting minutes.
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Author test cases and test plans, perform system testing and/or user acceptance testing, and coordinate issue resolution.
  • Create project diagrams (process, data, architecture, etc.).
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  • Monitor deliverables, verify KPIs, and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Conduct research that results in meaningful decision making and recommendation formation.
  • Perform defect reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field and/or relevant work experience
  • Advanced Degree a plus
  • Industry Certification a plus – ITIL, CSM, PMP, etc.
  • 5+ years of IT experience, with 3+ years as a Technical Analyst
  • Proven track record in working on enterprise-level large projects
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience creating detailed reports and giving
  • presentations
  • Experience in process definition, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to interact with and manage both local and virtual project teams
  • Knowledge of SDLC, application integration principles, standards and methods
  • Expert knowledge of the MS Office Suite – Project, Visio, Word, Excel
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Experience with Agile Tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Experience with Jamf or other mobile device management systems preferred
