WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
  • Confirm schedules with clinical sites and assist with patient communication.
  • Manage front office tasks-answer calls, schedule/reschedule appointments, and check patients in/out.
  • Support back-office operations-prepare exam rooms, escort patients, take vitals, and assist sonographers.
  • Handle insurance tasks-verify coverage, confirm in-network status, and obtain pre-authorizations.
  • Maintain clinic efficiency by keeping records updated, restocking supplies, and ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Adapt to various clinical settings, including outreach clinics with potential travel.
  • Assist with other duties as needed to support clinic operations.

  • High school graduate or GED holder
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service or patient care
  • Demonstrate strong attributes in using empathy to advocate good patient care
  • Strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
  • Tech-savvy and can learn new systems and medical devices efficiently and accurately
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced technical environments
  • Adept in following directions, especially when handling sonographic equipment
  • Ready to comply with health and safety policies and protocols
  • Able to remain calm in emergencies or patient distress
  • Comfortable sitting for long periods
  • Capable of lifting or moving patients and heavy equipment including those on wheels and in stretchers (up to approximately 500 pounds)
  • Good use of self-care strategies to prevent compassion fatigue
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future
BONUS POINTS:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in healthcare
  • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) certified
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
  • Bilingual: Spanish & English
