Currently we have a Technical Communications Specialist role open. This role will review engineering orders, set up and schedule Technical Literature projects, monitor ship schedules, compile Technical Literature requirements and maintain data systems.
Essential functions of the position include:
1. Review engineering orders (Eos), drawings, and bills of material to determine project requirements.
2. Create coversheets for Technical Literature projects based on engineering order reviews.
3. Perform data input to structure Technical Literature projects into bill of material.
4. Alert senior staff of significant design changes.
5. Maintain a weekly report of projects set up.
6. Maintain master schedules to ensure projects are being worked in accordance with attainment schedules and effectivity dates.
7. Review Daily Ship Schedule and compile information required for shipments.
8. Create and maintain Keysheets.
9. Work with Customer Information Center to maintain literature required for literature shipments.
10. Assist Customer Information Center with orders when necessary.
11. Create LIT numbers when requested.
12. Assist with maintenance of eManuals, CRM, and other departmental systems.
13. Assist leadership in researching technological advancements and industry preferences required to provide innovative, quality Technical Literature.
14. Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
General qualifications for this role:
* 2-year college degree
* Minimum of four (4) year experience in technical publications, communications and/or data analytics
