InvestCloud is seeking a highly organized and experienced Technical Content and Documentation Manager within our enterprise global training & documentation team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale content architecture systems, ensuring exceptional quality output, and understanding diverse user personas. This role involves overseeing training and technical content development, maintaining high editorial standards, and implementing efficient content strategies to enhance user experience and business priorities.

What does a great Technical Content and Documentation Manager do?

The Technical Content and Documentation Manager effectively oversees the creation, quality, and maintenance of all technical documentation and content for our products and services. Consistently meets the highest standards and effectively serves our internal and external customers.

How you will provide meaningful contributions:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies for various personas.
  • Oversee the production, maintenance, and measurement of a modular content library.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Engineering, and Product teams to source and maintain up-to-date visual content and discussion guides.
  • Manage content development processes, including intake, review/approval cycles, and workload prioritization.
  • Develop a framework for organizing and storing content in a searchable, easy-to-consume system for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the final inspector for all the team's content before publication.
  • Ensure all content meets the highest quality standards and aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Manage multiple content projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies and tools like Jira for efficient workflow management.
  • Develop and manage a speaker's bureau to identify, track, and train presenters aligned to specific content areas.
  • Define methodologies to track and measure content utilization and effectiveness.
  • Analyze content performance data to generate actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Promote a culture of knowledge sharing to elevate expertise and user voice within the organization.
  • Drive content cohesiveness by ensuring consistent branding and editorial standards across all assets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance our global content strategy.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • 5-7 years of program management, consulting, or strategy and operations experience.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles (e.g., training content development, sales, partnerships, consulting, professional services).
  • Strong program management skills with a history of transforming team operations through effective project execution.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, written and verbal communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with varying priorities.
  • Autonomous and self-driven with a passion for building and refining processes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and motivate change.

Preferred qualifications for the role

  • Experience in content strategy and editorial management for training content and digital software products.
  • Proficiency in modern content management systems (CMS) and SEO best practices.
  • Experience running an Agile team and managing workflows using tools like Jira.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate insights to enhance content performance.
  • Experience in editing and enhancing digital content rather than creating it from scratch.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant's geographic location. Salary range: $115,000 - $130,000
