The Process Technical Leader serves as a key technical authority for the Adult & Feminine Care (AFC) Supply Chain within Personal Care, representing the Value Stream Engineering Team. This role is tasked with driving process optimization within the existing AFC portfolio of Pants, Tampons, Pads & Liners. The leader aims to achieve significant improvements in asset performance while simultaneously reducing costs to meet world-class benchmarks. This technical leadership position collaborates closely with mill and cross-functional team members to design, develop, and optimize processes that enhance overall operational efficiency (OEE), drive costs reductions, and ensure compliance with sustainability standards. In this role, you will: Flow to work as part of the Supply Chain Team. Expected to be able to support manufacturing and converting activities across all Adult & Feminine Care. In the event of escalation, assist AO teams to return asset to target results. Drive the development and execution of the OEE plans for assets. Coordinate and lead targeted onsite action plans. Provide hands-on assistance to onsite teams . Significant presence at Adult & Feminine Care mills is expected. Support and implement strategy deployment process for capacity and capability liberation supporting the Adult & Feminine Care OEE Strategy, Supply Chain Priority Initiatives, and Cost Transformation requirements. Collaborate with mill teams to set annual Glidepaths for AFC Portfolio. Support mill teams in Glidepath development and changes. Final decision in the approval / denial process. Pull production data for Platform Leads, Sector Modelling, et al. Provide technical leadership of sector wide initiatives that improve Supply Chain OEE. Effectively collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes R&E, Global Value Stream, Supply Chain, mill operations, procurement, equipment suppliers and external service providers. Partner with mill teams keeping a customer focused mindset. Lead, coach, and mentor team members to increase technical understanding and ability to execute programs to improve AFC's business results. Assist with scheduling and planning team member's travel schedule. Coordinate with mills and staff as needed. Implement the documentation and report of unit work as required by KC policy, effective communication, protection of proprietary information, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Provide leadership by example in corporate safety, quality, regulatory, product safety and sustainability. Ensure that all elements of the corporate Human Resources Development policy are fully supported. Organizational Relationships & Influence: Reports to the Value Steam Engineering Leader in Adult Feminine Care Supply Chain Interacts daily with leaders across the Kimberly-Clark organization (Mill Operating Teams, Staff Manufacturing, Research & Engineering (R&E), Global Value Stream, Planning, Distribution, Procurement, Marketing, and Sales.) To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline or equivalent experience At least fifteen (15) years of process engineering, scientific/technical experience, or operations Technical experience in both mill and staff environments Direct experience with Personal Care manufacturing technologies/AFC business platforms strongly preferred. Proven ability to establish strong, effective cross-functional network at enterprise level. Subject matter expertise in Personal Care operation and optimization. Demonstrated ability to teach SME and SMS personnel. Strong fundamentals in engineering systems and tools in order to drive technical innovation. Ability to lead and direct a technical team and projects that successfully meet business objectives. Ability to effectively collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes R&E, Supply Chain, mill operations, procurement, equipment suppliers and external service providers. Demonstrated ability to establish strong, effective cross-functional networks at enterprise level. Subject matter expertise in process engineering data analytical software (Excel, PI, Plant Applications, MIDAS, SEEQ, JMP). Technical understanding of manufacturing systems, materials, product, and competitive process knowledge Demonstrated ability to leverage strong fundamentals in engineering systems and tools in order to drive technical innovation. Strong LEAN/problem solving/technical documentation skills. Process validation working knowledge. Strong verbal and written communication skills. WORK ENVIRONMENT: On-site and Remote Office conditions Manufacturing facilities Travel by ground and air, including international travel, up to 25%.
