Job Title: Central Region Technical Field ManagerLocation: St. Louis, MO Salary: $50-$55/hour Type: Long-term ContractAbout the Role: Join our Product Quality and Technical Service team as a Central Region Technical Field Manager! This remote, field-based role is crucial for enhancing customer satisfaction, supporting Audi dealers, and improving the quality of Audi vehicles. Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance Customer Experience: Ensure prompt and accurate vehicle repairs to boost customer satisfaction and resolve quality issues.
- Technical Analysis: Perform on-site technical evaluations to identify and address vehicle quality problems.
- Reporting: Document and report emerging vehicle quality issues and internal service information gaps.
- Dealer Support: Assist Audi dealers with complex vehicle repairs and technical issues.
- Collaboration: Work with Region and Customer Care teams to manage sensitive technical issues.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of technical analyses, including photos, videos, and recommendations.
- Training & Development: Organize technical update meetings and continuously enhance your technical skills.
- Cross-functional Assistance: Provide technical support to various Audi teams and participate in special projects as needed.
Required Skills:
- Strong automotive technical knowledge.
- Recent hands-on experience diagnosing automotive issues.
- Team-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven.
- Valid unrestricted driver's license and passport.
Desired Skills:
- Experience as a certified master technician or similar roles.
- Technical experience with Audi, VW, Porsche, or other European OEMs.
Education:Required:
- Associate Degree in Automotive Technology or equivalent certification.
- Automotive High Voltage certification/training.
Desired:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent certification (ASE A1-A8 + L1).
Work Flexibility:
- Extensive regional travel (70-80% of the time), with occasional national travel and overnight stays.
- Flexible hours, occasionally exceeding the normal work week.
- Rare, short-duration international travel (4-5 days to Germany).
