As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated Director of Technical Sales and Marketing Director who shares our commitment to transforming agriculture and creating a positive impact on the environment. Position OverviewThe Technical Sales and Marketing Director will play a crucial role in leading and managing CHONEX's field sales team, driving sales growth, and building robust relationships with distributors, growers, and agricultural advisors. This role will work closely with our Executive Management, R&D and Production teams to optimize product performance and identify opportunities for innovation. As the face of CHONEX and StrongSoil in the field, the Director will be instrumental in educating the industry on the benefits of our products and aligning our strategies to achieve our ambitious growth targets. Key Responsibilities:Sales Leadership & Strategic Growth: Drive sales efforts to meet and exceed quarterly and annual growth targets in alignment with CHONEX financial objectives.Distributor & Client Relationship Management: Build and strengthen partnerships with our distribution network, securing their commitment to stock, sell, and support strong soil products within their customer base.Product Training & Support: Develop and conduct training programs for distributor management, consultants, and sales teams on StrongSoil's product benefits, applications, and market positioning.Sales & Marketing: Lead the CHONEX strategies and tactics to align distributor sales programs, promotional activities, and outreach efforts. This includes coordinating social media, website, and influencer engagement to elevate brand awareness and drive customer loyalty.Market Representation: Represent CHONEX and StrongSoil at industry functions, trade shows, and conferences to increase brand visibility and expand the distributor and grower network.Feedback & Innovation Pipeline: Provide regular market feedback to CHONEX management on customer needs, competitive landscape, and potential product improvements.Team Management & Budget Oversight: Lead the Technical Marketing Representatives, manage the field sales expense budget, and report on budget alignment with sales goals. QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a sales or technical sales role within the agricultural sector, preferably with experience in managing a sales team or distributor network.Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated success in building business relationships and driving sustained sales growth in a competitive market.Educational Background: Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills with a talent for building rapport and conveying complex information in a clear, impactful way.Travel: Willingness to travel overnight up to 50-60% to support field operations and build relationships with key stakeholders.Digital Proficiency: Proficient in computer usage and social media with the ability to leverage digital tools for engagement and brand-building efforts.
