Client is seeking a motivated and skilled Pre-Sales Support Engineer with a strong background in drafting, particularly with facilities design The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of drafting experience and proficient skills in AUTOCAD. As a Pre-Sales Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with the sales team to design and redesign plants using our equipment. This role will involve on-site visits to plants, where you will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and develop customized solutions using AUTOCAD.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Conduct on-site visits to plants to assess existing layouts and equipment configurations.
  • Develop detailed drawings and technical documentation using AUTOCAD for plant design or redesign and equipment layout.
  • Work closely with clients to customize solutions that meet their specific needs and optimize plant efficiency.
  • Assist in the creation of proposals, presentations, and technical materials for clients.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the sales process.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as marketing to ensure seamless integration and implementation of solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Associate in AutoCAD or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting, preferably in the food industry.
  • Proficiency in AUTOCAD and other drafting software.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to communicate them effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel approximately 20% of the time to client sites.
