Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a Technical Sales & Service Representative to join their team. As a Technical Sales & Service Representative, you will be part of the technical support team providing essential services in an automotive assembly plant environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technical Service Associate III

Location: Toledo, OH

What's the Job?

• Monitor systems and processes to ensure the effective performance of PPG products for the customer.

• Collect and maintain data, utilizing color and appearance instrumentation.

• Perform paint film measurements and vehicle audits to uphold quality standards.

• Initiate problem-solving resolutions and communicate effectively with all levels in both the PPG and customer organizations.

• Provide technical sales and service support within the automotive assembly plant environment.

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of experience in a technical setting or automotive assembly plant environment.

• Good written and oral communication skills.

• Experience with waterborne basecoat, solventborne clearcoat, powder, and electrocoat technology is preferred.

• Strong computer skills and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

• High school degree and related work experience; college degree in chemistry, general science, or a related discipline is desired.
