What You Will Do:
  • Identify and quote the appropriate technical solution to meet the customer requirements.
  • Enable growth by providing the Outside Sales team with quotations, technical answers/solutions and order management support.
  • Liaison with sales, engineering, manufacturing and external representatives to optimize business.
  • Support all customer service functions and assist as needed.
  • Generate new business and ensure growth of existing accounts.
  • Provide technical training to clients and employees.
  • Communicate customer feedback for customer experience information and future product development.
  • Manage internal and external resources to insure sales quotes are accurate and on time.
Position Details:
  • Candidate must reside in Houston, TX or surrounding areas
  • Work week and shift: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday
  • This is an onsite position and regular attendance is expected.
  • Compensation package offered: Exempt position with a competitive base salary and eligibility for annual incentive bonus plan
  • New hire training provided by the manager and other technical service representatives
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering; or equivalent technical sales and customer service experience (4 years of CSR or TSR experience)
  • 2 years of technical sales experience with similar control valve products
  • Proficient experience in sales and ERP system software
  • Proficient in MS Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • At least 1 year experience in control valve sizing program
  • Strong technical solution and development skills.
  • Ability to apply ideas in the technical field to practical business problems.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role
Physical Demands:
  • Minimal bending, lifting up to 10lbs, twisting, reaching, stretching, pushing, and pulling for up to 10%.
  • Frequent standing and walking between 33% and 66%.
  • Constant collating/filing, using a keyboard, dialing, sitting, seeing, hearing, writing and speaking greater than 66%.
  • Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master Degree in Proficient in Oracle sales platform
  • Advanced in MS Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in quoting software and tools
  • Advanced experience in control valve sizing program
